Dear students,

Thank you for your interest in the YES 2008! To complete your registration for the YES 2008, please sign up for the event on this website by accessing the registration page.

Once the system found you in the database, you will be asked to provide some more information about yourself. Your registration will be completed when you create a user name and a password, with which you will be able to log on to the database in the future. 

In order to be able to tackle the subject “Migration. Living Diversity” best, a variety of workshops will be offered to you. This year there will be three types of workshops available: “mind”, “body”, and “The Migration Experience”. Plus, like every year there will be the YES! Mag.

The YES Mag

The YES! Mag workshop will write The YES! Mag – our traditional YES magazine. Students, participating in this workshop will get thorough introduction to the topic, as they will visit all other workshops, interview the participants and workshop leaders.
The YES! Mag team will also contribute to daily plenary sessions by presenting a bit of YES news every morning.

The Workshops

1. Each student has to participate in “The Migration Experience”, which will be automatically assigned to each one of you. You will be able to choose if you prefer that in English or German.

2. From the remaining two workshops, in which you will participate, at least one has to be a “mind” workshop. In order of priority, please indicate three “mind” workshops, and three “body” workshops (or six “mind” workshops and no “body” workshops), in which you would like to participate. We will do our best to assign you to your first priority workshop, but do not be disappointed if this is not the case – all different workshops will be very interesting!

3. You can sign up for workshops during April 24th – May 10th. The sooner you sign up, the greater chance there is for you to participate in the workshop of your first priority.

4. If you miss to sign up for workshops until May 10th, the Organising Team of the YES 2008 will choose the workshops for you! You can change your workshop choice until May 20th. 

5. After June 10th you will be informed of the workshops, which you will participate in during the YES 2008.
