Blind Photography Challenge
All you need is your phone or camera and get ready for the challenge!
(If possible, also bring a piece of clothing to be used as a blindfold).
You will be blindfolded for a determined time and will be brought to a determined area you will not know beforehand. The objective is to "feel" the environment around you and take some crazy and beautiful photographies.
At the end of the given time, you will be able to choose which photography you wish to submit. During the talent show, a vote will happen and the winners will be announced at the end.
Morning Yoga
We are inviting participants and volunteers of any age, size, shape, and fitness level to start their day off on the right foot by engaging in a gentle and wholesome yoga practice first thing in the morning. Wear comfortable clothes and bring your mat if you happen to have one! Namastay and see you there ! (by the Rec Tent)
Bird Walk
We will have a relaxed walk down to the lake and maybe a bit along the shore. We will see if we can spot or hear any birds and try to identify them. No prior knowledge is required, only curiosity. The focus is to enjoy spending time in nature and maybe learning something new.
Mindfulness
Mindfulness is a type of meditation in which you focus on being intensely aware of what you're sensing and feeling in the moment, without interpretation or judgment. Come and join me for this morning exercise, that could help you modify the way you view your surroundings. Start your day in a self-conscious and stress free mode.
Karaoke
We love singing, yes we do, we love singing How about you?
Karaoke nights are the best, if you want to join us do not hesitate!
Come by if you want to show your solo performance, duetto or trio etc.!
Beach Volleyball
Do you have some energy left at the end of the day and want to join a cool and inclusive group of people? How about watching the sunset while playing some fun volleyball? Feel the sand that is starting to cool down after a long day in the heat. Join beach volleyball and improve some of those serving skills or help others with some tips. Sunday we will play for fun and Tuesday we will run a short tournament! Put on some light sporty clothes and be ready to go barefooted. This is a fun, inclusive sport where everyone of all ages and experiences are welcome!
Silent disco
Join us for a one-of-a-kind experience at the silent disco party! Switch between songs and find the beats that move you. Let loose on the dance floor as your favorite hits come up! This event promises unforgettable memories and a truly unique experience that will leave you wanting more. Get ready to dance like no one's watching! Don't forget to bring your earphones and a charged phone, the silent tunes will be taken care of by us.

How do you encourage others? What did you experience during the exchange year that increased your mental resilience? What would you say to your younger self to encourage them? These are some of the questions we will discuss and answer to in the Courage Chronicle Video Workshop! Come enjoy an open, fun and relaxed environment and share your story with the YFU community.
The stories will be recorded and compiled into a video document, but you can also share your story anonymously <3

Hey there! You just came back from an exchange. Did you experience some LGBTQI+ issues that related to (your) exchange? Or are you experiencing them now when you’re about to get back to your home country? Would you like to hear other people’s stories? Are you left behind with some questions about different sexual and gender identities? If you answered yes to any of these questions then this is your workshop! No matter if you are an expert in LGBTQI+ topics or just started to learn more about it, if you yourself are a member of the LGBTQI+ community or not - we invite everyone to join us in this space for discovery & discussion.
Introduction to Brazilian Jiu-jitsu
Ever heard of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ)? No?In essence, it's a form of wrestling that's very effective for self-defense (and also as it turns out, very fun!). I'm going to show a few basic techniques that you'll get the chance to practice in a safe and controlled environment. Wear sports clothes of some kind, ideally a t-shirt & shorts or long pants. No jewelry.Whether you are a complete beginner or have some prior experience, I hope you join us for this opportunity to explore this dynamic martial art!
AcroYoga
AcroYoga is a combination of yoga and partner acrobatics. As a base (lower person) you learn to balance and move another person on your feet and hands. The flyer (upper person) gets to enjoy flying and as spotter (support) you secure the exercises. AcroYoga is a very special way to train confidence, body tension and perception. It is mainly about the general basics and is suitable for all people who have a certain openness towards body contact and enjoy movement. We will stay very basic so it is possible for everyone.

Discover the joy of crafting and make a little trinket to remember the YES and all the friends you made here! In this easy going and relaxing session we will learn the art of knotting techniques to create unique and personalised bracelets!
Dodgeball
Just a fun game that everyone could play and relief their stress during competitions and team fights. For this activity we need soft balls easy to pick up and throw.

The LGBTQ&A booth aims to be:
1) a meeting/socializing spot for queers and allies 2) a place for queer/questioning people to find trustworthy people (our lovely booth staff :)) to confide in 3) an opportunity for anyone to come learn and ask any questions about LGBTQ+ topics

D&D Corner
Whether you've just played your first session, led a campaign for years or are just curious, everyone is welcome to chat and learn more about Dungeons & Dragons at this session. Talk about your favourite stories and characters, create your first character, learn about the rules or find some like minded people to play with!
No need to bring anything, but feel free to take anything D&D related you may have with you. If you want to prepare by installing a dice rolling app, you can check out these apps: for Android or iPhone.

Pub Quiz
A good evening activity comes with some group activity and one of the classics is a quiz night! We are looking forward to gaining some new knowledge and seeing how much everybody already knows. Within different categories the groups can prove themselves and compete against the other groups. The activity is open to everybody and the more, the merrier.
Improv night
Get ready to improvise and unleash your inner comedian at the improv session! Join us for a laughter-packed adventure as you learn the ropes of spontaneous comedy through playful exercises, hilarious games, and scene work. The session is designed to be enjoyable for both complete beginners and seasoned improv actors. Please note that this is not an improv show: everyone joining is expected to participate in the games!
Beach Yoga
Come join me for a strengthening & stretching Vinyasa Yoga session by the lake! It's an opportunity to focus on yourself and your body, breaking a little sweat, and enjoying the lovely scenery. meet up at the beach at 16:30!

You can choose your own project, if you are familiar with crocheting or macrame!
